The objectives of this study were to evaluate the effect of supplementation of Bacillus natto fermented products on digestive enzyme activities of broilers. Four hundred day-old Arbor Acres broilers (200 male and 200 female) were randomly allotted into 4 treatments × 2 replications × 2 sex experimental design with 25 birds in each pen. The four treatment groups were: basal diet + 0 (control group), 50, 100 and 150 ppm Bacillus natto fermented products. Feed and water were provided ad libitum. Eight birds from each treatment were randomly selected and jejunal samples were taken at 21 and 42 days of age for disaccharidase, amylase and protease activity test. The results showed that the jejunal disaccharidase, amylase and protease activity were increased with age and supplementation levels of the Bacillus natto fermented products. Broilers fed with Bacillus natto fermented products were significantly increased in jejunal disaccharidase activity at 42 days of age. And the broilers fed with 150 ppm Bacillus natto fermented products appealed to obtain the highest jejunal amylase and protease activities among all treatment groups.
