In this paper, BaY2ZnO5 phosphors doped with Tb3+(x=0.04) to substitute Y3+ element were synthesized by microwave sintering at 1050℃, 1150℃ and 1250℃ for 60 min in air. The luminescence properties of prepared BaY2ZnO5:Tb phosphors were analyzed by
photoluminescence spectrum, the grain size of the phosphor was observed by SEM image, and the crystal structures were analyzed by X-Ray. It is worth to be mentioned that the emission spectrum was located obviously at the 546 nm as λex= 300 nm, and the best emission intensity was obtained when BaY2ZnO5:Tb phosphor was sintered at 1250℃.
