This paper aims to develop spatial cooperative
diversity techniques to proceed with the switch, selection,
combination and optimization between antennas. Meanwhile,
beamforming method is combined with signal decision logic to
enhance the co-channel interference mitigation performance of
the proposed technique. The mathematical formulations for
equal-gain and maximum-ratio combining techniques are also
demonstrated. After successful testing of the algorithms through
simulated data, it has been found that global navigation satellite
system (GNSS) receiver with proposed technique presents a
significant improvement in terms of post-processing signal to
noise ratio (post-SNR) and detection probability over singleantenna
based GNSS receiver.
