Owing to enhancement of current
micro-electro-mechanical-systems (MEMs), the navigation
technique of mobile robot has reached mature stage.
High-precision navigation sensors have been applied to
robot navigation, which includes the use of various sensor
component integration techniques to increase the precision
of vehicle positioning and meet the demand in actual
situation. How to effectively achieve high positioning
precision for navigation system under low computation
time, low implementation complexity and low system
establishment cost is the major concern of future
development of mobile robot capable of high-precision
navigation. Thus, this paper analyzes the positioning
precision using different navigation sensor for integration
and also evaluates the suitable site for such an integration
method. The analysis and evaluation of the system provides
an important reference for future establishment of
autonomous gardening robot.
