In this study, all-fiber Mach–Zehnder
interferometer (AF-MZI) of two taper structures for coupling
and decoupling light is fabricated by single fusion-stretching
and multiple fusion process. The result shows that AF-MZI by
multiple fusion process performs better sensing sensitivity due
to well mixed core-cladding boundary improving light
interacted with environment.
