Csikszentmihalyi(1996) once brought up that “creation” is not “what is creativity”; instead , in the relationship of system interaction, we should ask “where is creativity.” That is, the implications of systems perspective includes three indexes: individual, field and domain, and “domain” belongs cultural phase. And in Chinese traditional interaction system, in “Yi”, “Ta-chi” is the whole implications of systems perspective, which includes God, Environment and Human Being (Ding, 2006). In other words, only the three systems: God, Land and Human Being work together and harmoniously then can bring the potential (creativity) into full play. Based on the literature review, the hypotheses of the study are as followings: Hypothesis 1: There is significant correlation between “personal cognition” and “individual creativity” in university students in Taiwan. Hypothesis 2:There is significant correlation between “learning environment” and “individual creativity” in university students in Taiwan. Hypothesis 3:There is significant difference in “different genders” and “individual creativity” in university students in Taiwan. Hypothesis 4:There is significant correlation between “personal cognition” and “individual creativity” in university students in the USA. Hypothesis 5:There is significant correlation between “learning environment” and “individual creativity” in university students in the USA. Hypothesis 6: There is significant difference in “different genders” and “individual creativity” in university students in the USA. Hypothesis 7:There is significant difference in “different cultures” (Taiwan and the USA) and “different genders” (male and female) to “personal cognition”. Hypothesis 8:There is significant difference in “different cultures” (Taiwan and the USA) and “different genders” (male and female) to the learning environment of creativity among universities. Hypothesis 9:There is significant difference in “different cultures” (Taiwan and the USA) and “different genders” (male and female) to “individual creativity”. The study adopted the method of self-filling questionnaire survey. Chinese version questionnaires were released in Taiwan and English version questionnaires were released in the USA. There were total 1093 subjects in Taiwan, and 248 subjects in the USA. In order to meet the number of the subjects in the USA, 355 subjects in Taiwan were random chosen from different universities by percentage. Data showed hypotheses were accepted that are hypothesis 1、2、3、4、5、9 and were not accepted that are hypothesis 6、7、8. The present study showed that no matter in Taiwan or in the USA, there were significant on “individual creativity”, “individual cognitive styles” and “learning environment”. And in different cultures and differences between males and females, there was significant on “individual creativity”. So, it can prove what Csikszentmihalyi(1996) had mentioned implications of systems perspective includes three indexes: personal characteristics in individual, contextual characteristicsin field and cultures in domain and these three systems effect creativity. However, in the study, it didn’t get support in “personal characteristics of the students in apparel department” and “contextual characteristics of school professional creativity learning environment”. Maybe the reason is that the USA as a flourish country in the world, Taiwan is affected by it a lot. There are many similarities in “ personal cognition” and “learning environment” by imitating and learning the educational ideas. Furthermore, the result showed there was significant difference between different genders and creativity in Taiwan, yet not in the USA. The result may show that the gender education about in Taiwan may be effected by traditional idea “there are gender differences” from the Confucianists. On the other hand, the concept of gender quality which is always emphasized in the USA society lead to no differences in creativity between genders.
